Construction Service Agreement

Every project we undertake is backed by a formal, written agreement. Here’s an overview of what’s covered — so you know exactly what to expect before you sign anything.

At n&k construction’s, we do not begin any project — big or small — without a signed Construction Service Agreement between us and the Client. This protects both parties and ensures complete clarity on cost, scope, timeline, and quality before a single brick is laid. Below is a summary of what every agreement includes. The full legal document is shared and signed individually for each project.

1. Scope of Work

A clear, written description of exactly what will be built — including drawings and a detailed Bill of Quantities. Anything outside this scope requires a separate written change order.

2. Payment Schedule

Payments are milestone-based — tied to real, verifiable progress (foundation, structure, finishing, handover) rather than collected upfront. Every rupee is accounted for in writing.

3. Timeline Commitment

A defined project start and completion date, with clear terms on what constitutes an acceptable delay (Force Majeure) versus a breach of contract.

4. Materials & Quality

A signed Material Specification Sheet listing exact brands and grades for cement, steel, sanitaryware, and finishing materials — so there’s no substitution without your written consent.

5. Warranty

A 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of handover, covering structural defects arising from construction quality.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disagreement is first resolved through direct discussion. If unresolved, it proceeds to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with jurisdiction at [City], Rajasthan.

Important: This page is a summary for informational purposes only and does not itself constitute a binding contract. The actual Construction Service Agreement — with project-specific details, annexures, and signatures — is executed separately and in writing for every client before work begins. In case of any conflict, the signed physical/digital agreement between the Client and [Company Name] shall prevail over this page.
